Dave Fanjoy entered the Battletech universe in 1987 with the Aerotech box set, and started playing Battletech the following year. For the first decade, he got by on about 5 poorly-painted minis. In 1997, after getting a real job with which to support the habit, he began to spend copious amounts on minis and painting equipment. Sometime in 1998 was his first commissioned Battletech paint job. Since that time, he has painted and sold at least one of every mech miniature variant produced by Ral Partha and then Iron Wind Metals (up through about 2005). These days, he's slowed down quite a bit but still puts out the occasional mini or two.
